It’s the final day of Armchair BEA. It’s been so much fun, although I wish I had more time to spend going around to everyone’s blogs. It’s nearly impossible working full-time and taking care of a family too, so I did the best I could. Today’s topic is Young Adult/Middle Grade, and I’ve decided for this post to highlight some upcoming YA titles I’m looking forward to. Clearly there is no shortage of new YA titles coming out, and I have my eye on a bunch of them. Hopefully you’ll recognize many of these, and you may just discover something new to add to your TBR! Hexed by Michelle Krys. I do love stories about witches, and this one has some very positive reviews. It’s coming out soon, so I hope to review it in a couple of weeks.
Falls the Shadow by Stefanie Gaither. Clones! This is described as a “nail biter,” so I imagine it will be good.
The Merciless by Danielle Vega. I love the simple yet creepy cover, which suggests…evil??
Midnight Thief by Livia Blackburne. I loved Poison Dance, the prequel novella to this book, and I love Livia’s writing. That bodes well for this novel!
Blightborn by Chuck Wendig. One of my fave writers, this is book two in his self-proclaimed “cornpunk” trilogy. If you haven’t checked out Wendig, why not?
Complicit by Stephanie Kuehn. I’ve seen some rave reviews for this title, which comes out in June. It’s also coming up soon on my reading list.
The Islands at the End of the World by Austin Aslan. This story takes place in Hawaii and sounds a bit post apocalyptic, as the world experiences electronic failure.
100 Sideways Miles by Andrew Smith. I still haven’t read his other books, which readers are raving about, so it looks like this will be my first Smith book. Really looking forward to it!
The Cure for Dreaming by Cat Winters. Oooh I loved In the Shadow of Blackbirds! This is Cat’s second book, and looks equally as good.
Sublime by Christina Lauren. I love this cover sooo much, and the ghostly story sounds like it might live up to the cover!
Rebel Nation by Shaunta Grimes. This is book two, after Viral Nation. I really enjoyed the first book, whose main characters are an autistic girl and her service dog named Mango.
Blackfin Sky by Kat Ellis. I believe this is already out in the UK, and will be released in the US this September.
So there you have it, some of my most highly anticipated YA releases from now until the end of the year. (Although I suspect I’ve left off quite a few…) How about you? Are any of these on your “must read” lists?

A couple books on your list are on mine as well — and I discovered so many others! I added The Islands at the End of the World, the one that takes place on Hawaii. Looks amazing, first I heard of it.
I can’t remember where I ran across it, but it does sound different, which is always a good thing:-)
I don’t know if you have ever read the Mortal Instruments series, but I love it <3 And the last book has just come out! So I've put in an order, but that has to be one of my most awaited books.

I’ve read the first three books, I think, and loved them. With blogging I seem to never have time to get to finish series, however.
Armchair BEA seemed like a lot of fun, I might do this next year! I can’t wait for The Merciless, it sounds so freaking good! I haven’t heard good things about HEXED though, so that one I might give a miss.

Yeah, I’m bummed about a few bloggers mentioning bad reviews for Hexed. I guess I’ll form my own opinion when I read it:-)
“100 Sideways Miles” has a stunning cover! I mean, it’s something I’d definitely notice while walking through a bookshop, or a library.
It’s one of my favorite covers this year, when I saw it I knew I had to try to get approved for a review copy!
I am absolutely IN LOVE with the cover of Sublime, and to be completely honest, that alone makes me want to run out and read that book!
I haven’t heard of many of the other titles you mentioned, but I can say I am ridiculously excited for Rebel Nation. I read Viral Nation as an e-ARC and I absolutely adored it. I cannot wait to see where Clover’s story takes her.
