Over-Booked (1) A Book Haul Post

Over booked banner copyFirst of all, Happy Mother’s Day to all my mom blogger friends! I’m revamping some stuff here on Books, Bones & Buffy, and one of those things is my new book haul post, which will now be called Over-Booked. I’ll be linking up with Stacking the Shelves at Tynga’s Reviews and The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ll link up your book haul posts in the comments so I can visit you as well.

A small week for me, book-wise, but I’m super excited about each of these books. With my new full-time work schedule, I’m still adjusting to a lack of time to work on this blog, but it’s definitely easier than when I first started working a month ago.  Here are the fab books I received for the past two weeks:

In the mail:

I received Darkness Bound by J.T. Geissinger from NetGalley, but a few days ago I got a surprise copy in the mail from Montlake Romance,  the trademark Montlake “coverless” version that they usually send to reviewers. Oh Montlake, if you’re trying to keep the cover under wraps, it’s too late! But thank you, I love having a physical copy, cover or no cover:-)

From NetGalley:

The Source by J.D. Horn. This is book two in J.D.’s Witching Savannah series. I rave about J.D. every chance I get, so if you like southern gothic stories with witches, you’ll love these books. Start with The Line. Thank you 47North!

Midnight Thief by Livia Blackburne. I’m so excited that I was approved for this book! I read Livia’s Poison Dance novella and was hooked on her writing and storytelling skills. Thank you Disney-Hyperion!

That’s it for this over-booked girl! What goodies did you get this week?
