Stacking the Shelves (41)

STS

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, and is a fun way to share our book hauls with each other. This haul is for the past two weeks, and thankfully, it’s very small:) Here’s what I received (click on the titles to go to Goodreads):

From publishers for review:

023

The Almost Girl by Amalie Howard. Release date: January 7 2014 (Strange Chemistry). Everyone was going gaga over this cover when it was revealed not too long ago, and who can blame them. It’s a good one: gorgeous colors with a heavy science fiction vibe. I can’t wait to read it! Thanks to Strange Chemistry!

The Scroll of Years by Chris Willrich. Released September 24 2013 (Pyr). I was so excited when a Pyr publicist asked me if I’d like a copy. I read some really good reviews of this book, and I believe it’s the first in a series. I like the concept of the main characters being a couple already, and the woman is pregnant! Thank you Lisa and Pyr!

For review from NetGalley:

Unhinged by A.G. Howard. Release date: January 7 2014 (Amulet). I adored Splintered, like many other readers, and I’m more than excited to continue the story of Alyssa, Jeb and Morpheus!

Lady Thief by A.C. Gaughen. Release date: February 11 2014 (Walker Childrens). I have Scarlet in a pile somewhere, gathering dust and mournfully waiting for me to give it some attention. Now I have an excuse to finally read it!

Big thanks to Amulet and Walker Childrens!

For Upcoming Blog Tour:

Scion of the Sun

Scion of the Sun by Nicola Marsh. Release date: November 2013 (Month9Books). Marsh is better known for writing romance, so it will be interesting to see what this is like. I’m looking forward to reading it. Thank you Month9Books!
