Stacking the Shelves (39)

STS

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and is a fun way to share the books you’ve acquired over the week with other bloggers and readers! I wasn’t expecting to post a Stacking the Shelves this week, but I was unexpectedly approved for some Edelweiss titles that I requested a couple of months ago. I had given up hope, but yay publishers! Now I can read and review these awesome books:

For Review from Edelweiss:

House of Ivy & Sorrow by Natalie Whipple. Release date: April 15 2014 (Harper Teen). Witches, people! That’s all you really need to know. I’m on a witch-kick lately, and this book will do just fine.

Panic by Lauren Oliver. Release date: March 4 2014 (Harper Collins). This is Oliver’s new series, and it sounds pretty good.

Salvage by Alexandra Duncan. Release date: April 1 2014 (Greenwillow). I’m looking forward to this science fiction tale that’s being compared to Across the Universe.

Death Sworn by Leah Cypess. Release date: March 4 2014 (Greenwillow). Fantasy and a beautiful cover too? This looks pretty good.

Her Dark Curiosity by Megan Shepherd. Release date: January 28 2014 (Balzer+Bray). I really enjoyed The Madman’s Daughter, although it did piss me off at the end with its huge cliffhanger—so yes, I’m anxious to read this next book in the series!

Thank you Harper, Greenwillow and Balzer+Bray!

I’ve ordered some books from Amazon that haven’t arrived yet, so I’ll save those for my next Stacking the Shelves. What did you get this week?

  1. Great haul of books, I’m so looking forward to House of Ivy & Sorrow and I really need to pick up a copy of The Madman’s Daughter before January!

Enjoy all your new books and happy reading 🙂

I’m going to have to check out that Salvage title. Any you think I’d love? LOL I don’t have any of these and usually we’re so in sync haha. I haven’t been requesting much of anything lately – so swamped lol.

    • I have backed off on requests, but I got most of these titles 2 months after I requested them! They all look really good to me, especially Death Sworn.
