What’s On My Plate – June 2013

On My PlateHappy Summer, everyone! I’m looking forward to catching up on my backlog of reading in the next few months, I hope. In the meantime, I do have some June review commitments I’m hoping to get to. Let’s just say I’m going to do my best:)  Here’s what I’m looking forward to this month (click on the covers for more information on Goodreads):

For Review:

LinkedBorn of IllusionAnother Little Piecethe RegistryStoker's ManuscriptIn the AfterThe World of the EndDesper Hollow

Aren’t these an awesome bunch of books? I’ve been waiting quite a while to read some of them, and very excited that it’s finally June. All this titles will be released this month!

Blog Tours:

Charm & Strange2RunesViral NationThe Forgotten OnesSea Change

I’m reading Charm & Strange right now, and boy is it intriguing! My stop on that tour is Tuesday June 4th. Right on the heals of that is my stop on the Runes tour, on June 5th. I’m thrilled that I was asked to participate in Shaunta Grimes’ Viral Nation blog tour, and my stop on that one is June 19th. I’ll be reviewing The Forgotten Ones on June 24th, and Sea Change on June 30th. Keep reading this blog, because most of these tours will most likely have giveaways attached to them!

Indie Books for Review:

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000039_00024]Poison Shy

I’m going to try to read Geddy’s Moon this month, but it might get pushed to July. It’s really long! Poison Shy on the other hand is very short, and I will definitely read and review it this month.

Bookish Events:

Stoker's ManuscriptLives of tao

I’m hoping to go to the launch event for Stoker’s Manuscript on June 13th. Anyone who lives in the Los Angeles area, the signing will be at Book Carnival in Orange, CA.

And on June 25th I’m thrilled to be posting an interview with Wesley Chu, author of the amazing The Lives of Tao. I’ll be giving away my ARC as well! (reluctantly…)

That’s it for me this month! Next month is Comic Con (finally!) which I’ll be talking about in my July edition of What’s On My Plate. But until then, I have a lot of reading to do…
