Today I’m branching out! I want to continue to link up with Stacking the Shelves, which is hosted by Tinga’s Reviews, but I also want to join in the new home of In My Mailbox over at The Mod Podge Bookshelf. Book Bonanza is my version of the weekly memes where you can share your book haul with other bloggers. Since I’ve decided to back off from book requests on NetGalley and Edelweiss for a while (until I catch up!), I only have a few things to share this week. But they are awesome! Here’s what I received (click on the images to go to Goodreads):
Project Cain by Geoffrey Girard. Release date: September 3 2013 (Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers). I contacted the author to see if I could snag an ARC of Project Cain, and he was nice enough to send me one! I’m sooo excited to read this book. It looks creepy and disturbing, two things that I love:) I won’t be able to get to it for a month or two, due to my busy schedule, but I’m going to read it as soon as I can. Thanks so much Geoffrey!
The Forgotten Ones by Laura Howard. I am participating in Laura’s blog tour in June, and I’m looking forward to reading her book. Thanks Laura!
The Key & the Flame by Claire M. Caterer. Release date: April 2 2013 (Margaret K. McElderry Books). Thank you so much to Hafsah at Icey Books for hosting this giveaway. And special thanks to Claire for sending me a beautiful finished and signed copy, all wrapped up with a ribbon! I’ve heard amazing things about this magical middle-grade novel, and I can’t wait to dive in.
NOS4A2 by Joe Hill. Release date: April 30 2013 (William Morrow). OMG, I don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for this book. I guess I could go back and find the date I chose it as my Waiting on Wednesday, but let’s just say I can’t believe it’s finally here. I’ve read a few reviews from other bloggers, and they are stellar! Not sure when I’ll get to it, but soon I hope:)
The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker. Release date: April 23 2013 (Harper). I read a gushing review of this book on a blog (sorry, I can’t remember which one!) and I immediately pre-ordered it from Amazon. It looks amazing, and it’s got tons of great reviews as well.
That’s my Book Bonanza! Link me up with yours!
