Wow, I’m so excited about this news: Scholastic is celebrating the 15th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by reissuing a set of paperbacks with all-new cover designs! Isn’t the artwork beautiful? The books will be released in September. You can read the complete article on EW’s Shelf Life here.
Are you a Donna Tartt fan like I am? The Secret History is still one of my all-time favorite books, one that I re-read every few years or so. It’s been eleven years since the release of her last book, The Little Friend, but it looks like that long wait is almost over. The title of her next book has been announced, and you can read about it here.
One of my most anticipated spring releases is In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters, which comes out April 2nd. The trailer for the book has just been revealed over at The Mod Podge Bookshelf, and you can enter a giveaway to win a signed ARC of the book! You can watch the trailer and enter the giveaway here. (And don’t be surprised if you catch yourself humming the haunting song that accompanies it…)
Velveteen was one of my favorite books of 2012, and author Daniel Marks is one of the top three funniest authors I’ve come across. He’s famous for his YouTube videos, and he’s just put up a new one with a pretty cool giveaway. Click here to visit his website and see the video.
