What’s On My Plate – February 2013

On My Plate

January went by so fast! I have to admit that although I read quite a few books this month, I’m still behind with my NetGalley and Edelweiss titles. I will be playing catch-up for the next month or so, I guess. This past month was a fantastic month for reading, though. Just about everything I read was either four or five stars. This month looks great, too! Here’s what I have going on, and what I will attempt to read in February:

For Review:

HysteriaThe Best of all Possible WorldsPantomimeShe Returns from WarVampires in the Lemon GroveThe Water WitchEx-Heroes2

In addition to these titles, I’m still dying to read The Archived and Scarlet. Not to mention all the indie books I’m still behind on! Did I mention that February is also a crazy month for me personally? There are three birthdays in my family this month: my husband’s, my son’s and mine. And there’s Valentine’s Day to deal with. It might take a miracle to make it through the month, but I’d say my plate is full of good things, right?

For Book Club:

Mr. Penumbra's

This month it’s my choice for book club, so I picked a title I didn’t get a chance to read last year. This book is on a bunch of “best of” lists, so I have high hopes for it.

Blog Tour:

Talisman of El

I’m part of the Talisman of El Blog Tour and Book Blast this month. My stop on the tour will be February 13th. You can enter to win one of three  hardcover copies of the book. During the Book Blast on February 5th, you can stop by and enter to win a $50 Amazon gift card!

Giveaway Hops:

OK, call me crazy…four hops this month!! Next month I’m cutting back, but what the heck, since February is my birthday month, I’m feeling generous! Come back and check out my giveaway for each hop…you could be the winner!

That’s it for February! Thanks for stopping by…

  1. Ooh February looks like it’s going to be a busy one for you. I hope you read some good books and everyone has happy birthdays 🙂 I’m looking forward to the books by Karen Lord and Karen Russell – no idea when I’ll ever get to them though, so I look forward to seeing your reviews.
