Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and is a way to share the books you’ve acquired over the past week or so. I’m pretty excited about the books I received the past two weeks! (Clicking on the book covers will take you to Goodreads)

For Review from Publisher:

Between Two ThornsBlack Feathers

Between Two Thorns by Emma Newman. Release date: February 26 2013 (Angry Robot). This fantasy is the first in a series and takes place in Bath, England’s secret Mirror City. If you look closely you can see gargoyles on the cover of this book, which immediately makes me want to read it.

Black Feathers by Joseph D’Lacey. Release date: March 26 2013 (Angry Robot). Another first in a series, this fantasy sounds so good, plus Stephen King really likes this guy, according to the blurb on the front. Hey, that’s good enough for me! Many thanks to Angry Robot for these two books.

In The Shadow of BlackbirdsShadow Girl

From the lovely A. G. Howard, author of Splintered, I got very lucky and won a bunch of stuff from her giveaway, including an amazing glowing jar and three antique chess pieces! I was also lucky enough to win ARCs of In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters (Release date: April 2 2013, Amulet Books) and The Shadow Girl by Jennifer Archer (Release date: April 9 2013, Harper Teen). I also won Bruised by Sarah Skilton, which I mentioned in my last StS.  Thank you so much Anita!!

Purchased:

The Archived

The Archived by Victoria Schwab. Now available (Hyperion). I had this pre-ordered from Amazon, and it arrived just a couple of days ago! My reading schedule is so busy right now, that I’m not sure when I’ll be able to read it, but it will be soon, I can promise that:) I am soooo excited to read this!

I hope you got some great things this week too! Let me know!
