Stacking the Shelves (16)

Stacking the ShelvesStacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, and is a fun way to showcase the books you received over the past week. This week I received:

For Review:

Madmans jkt Des1.inddMind GamesShe Returns from WarEx-HeroesAsher's Dilemma

The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd. Release date:  January 29 2013 (Balzar + Bray). OMG!! I am beyond excited to have been approved for this book! Thank you Edelweiss and Harper Collins! This is on my Top Ten Most Anticipated Books for 2013, and I couldn’t be happier.

Mind Games by Kiersten White. Release date: February 19 2013 (Harper Teen). I’m super excited about this book too. 2013 is really looking like a stellar year for fiction, particularly YA.

She Returns From War by Lee Collins. Release date: January 29 2013 (Angry Robot). I recently read and reviewed The Dead of Winter, and I loved it. This is the next adventure in Cora’s story, and I can’t wait to read it.

Ex-Heroes by Peter Clines. Release date: Now available (Permuted Press). This book has been out for a few years, so I’m not sure why it recently showed up on Edelweiss, but it sounds really good, sort of a zombie-super hero story. And I love the cover!

Asher’s Dilemma by Coleen Kwan. Release date: January 7 2013 (Carina Press). Time travel and steampunk? Sounds good to me!

Purchased:

City of Dark Magic

City of Dark Magic by Magnus Flyte. Now available. I saw this at Costco and grabbed a copy! It sounds really good. It’s about magic and Beethoven and takes place in Prague. I’m intrigued…

Catch Up Reading Challenge Button225copy

Don’t forget to check out my 2013 Catch Up Reading Challenge here. If you are sad about all the books you didn’t have time to read this year (or previous years) due to blog and review obligations, then this challenge is for you! Vow to read some of those books that languished in the TBR pile and never made it to the top!

What goodies are on your shelves this week?
