Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine, and it’s a way to share with other bloggers the books you are really looking forward to reading. It’s always hard for me to narrow it down to one book, but this week I just happened to stumble upon an author I’ve never heard of before. Plus, this book is coming out in July, so the wait time is short!
Up Jumps the Devil by Michael Poore. Release date: July 3, 2012 by Ecco/Harper Collins. Michael Poore has written and published numerous short stories, but this is his first novel. What drew me to this book was the cover. The devil roasting marshmallows? How can you not want to read a book like that? Here’s what Goodreads says about Up Jumps the Devil:
