In the Comic Con Waiting Room

Well, here I am.  In the Comic Con waiting room.  This is the virtual room where tens of thousands of people “wait” to get into the online Comic Con registration area. Tickets went on sale at 8:00 a.m., and it took me half an hour just to get into the waiting room.  When the page finally loaded, I discovered that I was the 38,710 person in line!  This gives me a sliver of hope, because in Comic Con’s multitude of instructions about how to register and all the do’s and don’ts of the process, they mention that if your number is over 40,000, chances are very slim that you will actually get tickets. So I have slightly more than a slim chance…the suspense is palpable folks!

Update: 4-day badges are already sold out, and only single day badges remain. This is not looking good…with 31,000 people still ahead of me, I may be left out this year.

*weep*

Sad Update: No tickets for me this year:( My daughter is so sad! We were going to go together. Please join me in a silent moment of mourning.
