Another week, another book! As I told a friend recently, I wish I could freeze time and catch up on my “to read” list. Since my kids are getting ready to start school next week (yes, already!), my reading time has been taken up with school registration, buying school supplies, PTA duties, and the general worry that comes with having kids and starting a new school year. (Some of you will understand that.) So yes, I am still working on several reviews, including Robert McCammon’s The Five, and yes, I am still reading The Last Werewolf. So stay tuned, there is more to this blog than a weekly book recommendation!
This week I’m featuring The Family Fang by Kevin Wilson. If people were books, this book would be me. Or I would be it. Or something like that. This book looks truly awesome. The story revolves around husband and wife performance artists Caleb and Camille Fang, and their two children, who are unwilling participants in their parents’ “art.” Based on the reviews I’ve read, it should be a quirky, funny, imaginative and moving story, and I can’t wait to read it.
